Services
Your space doesn’t stop needing attention after opening day. Buildup provides ongoing maintenance and facility support for offices, retail stores and restaurants across the GTA.

After opening day the space starts earning — and wearing out. Doors sag, grout cracks, flooring wears through in the high-traffic lanes, grease builds up around kitchen equipment, and the HVAC that was fine in April isn't in July.
Buildup Contracting offers ongoing service and maintenance for the spaces we’ve built — and for any office, retail or food-service space in the GTA. Because we build commercial interiors inside and out, we can diagnose and fix issues faster than a general handyman service.
When the contractor who built your space handles ongoing maintenance, repairs happen faster and cost less. We already know your space — the layout of pipes behind the walls, the electrical panel capacity, the HVAC routing. That institutional knowledge means we can often diagnose issues over the phone and arrive with the right parts and tools on the first visit.
You call or email with the problem and, if you can, a photo. For anything we have built, we already have the drawings and know what is behind the wall, so most issues can be diagnosed on the phone. You get a written scope and price before anyone is dispatched — small works typically run from $200 to $10,000 — and a booked window that respects your trading hours. Disruptive work in an occupied restaurant, store or office goes into an after-hours slot agreed with you in advance.
The same team that builds our projects does the service work, under the same insurance — WSIB and commercial general liability, with certificates available for your landlord or property manager on request. If a repair uncovers something bigger, you hear about it before we touch it, with a price, and you decide. Nothing proceeds without your approval.
Restaurant operators who need a door, a tile floor or a piece of millwork fixed between services without closing. Multi-location and franchise operators who want one standing contractor across their GTA stores, a documented repair history per location, and a response they do not have to chase. Landlords and property managers who need unit turnovers, landlord’s work and small repairs done to a standard their next tenant will accept.
The common thread is that these are commercial spaces with customers in them, where a repair has to be done cleanly, on schedule and to code — not squeezed in between residential jobs. Our office is in Richmond Hill and our crews cover Toronto, York Region and Peel, including Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham and Brampton.
Do you only service spaces you built? No. We service any office, retail or food-service space in the GTA. Spaces we built are faster to diagnose because we have the drawings, but the process and pricing are the same either way.
What is the typical cost of a service call? Most small works land between $200 and $10,000 depending on scope. You receive a written price before we book the visit, and any change is approved by you before it proceeds.
Can you work while we stay open? Yes. Dust and noise control, protection of customer areas and after-hours windows are part of how we plan every service visit in an operating business.
