Scope Overview

Transforming a base-building shell or existing retail unit into a finished commercial interior ready for business operations. This scope is common for new tenants moving into shopping centres, strip plazas, or mixed-use developments across the GTA.

Typical Scope of Work

Base-building assessment and condition report, architectural drawing coordination, permit applications and municipal liaison, structural modifications where required, storefront and entrance upgrades, interior framing and insulation, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) rough-ins and finals, custom millwork and fixture installation, signage coordination, and final occupancy inspection.

Buildup Contracting's Role

Pre-construction planning through to handover, including budget management, trade coordination, landlord communication, and post-completion warranty support.
